ST Reflections #3 -- "Ink Corporated"!

Question 1: What are some reasons stated in the article why some people choose to have body art like tattoos or piercings done on parts of their body.

Some reasons that people would choose to have body arts like tattoos or piercings on their body parts are that they want attention from others around them, so that throught having these "special" things on them people will look at them. But they certainly would not know how people would think about them. Second reason is that they want others to feel that they are powerful; fearless; strong. This is because having these tatoos or piercings it have to go through pains from needles. Some may also feel cool and think that it is a fashion.

Question 2: a) What are some impressions you would form of a person whose body is covered with tattoo?

Some impressions of a person whose body is covered wityh tattoo which i would look at is , bad , scary , not a good person.

b) Would you consider getting a tattoo in future? Why?

NO. I felt that having a tattoo is not a way to show that its nice or whaever. It would cause people to look at you in different perceptives many would not be good ones. Having a tattoo would also waste money waste time too. Having to place the tattoo on our body requires the needles with ink poking into our body. I feel that this is a suffering for one more then a " cool " thing. I would definitly think twice before i do things like this. The heavy price will definitly outweight the gains.

Question1 :What are some consequences which a girl might face for engaging in casual sex?

If the opposide sex partner have STDs (Sexually Transmitted Disease) , this would cause the girls to be trasmitted with this disease unknowingly. Having a casual sex would also got the teenage girls to get pregnant at such a young age, they would become rather depress as a result it would affect their studies and life which no on will like these to happen to them. many consequenses would also follow as time passes so girls should stay vigilant at all times such that nothing like those mention above would happen.

Question 2: What are some of your reactions after reading this article? If one day, a close friend of yours confess to you that he/she has been engaging in sex, what would your advice to him/her be?

After reading this i felt kind of dissapointed. How can this girls be so bold to do these? it would not only affect themself for sometime, but it would affect their parents to be pointed at. Relatives and friends will start to say that their parents did not do a good job in teaching their children. This things will alsobaffect them forthe whole of their life. if a close friend would to confess to me that he/she has been engaging in sex i would advice him/her to stop doing it and tell her the consequenses. I would also encourage my friend to see a counsellor so that they may help him/her if there are any problems that needs good advice.

State any two reasons mentioned by students why extra tuition was necessary.

• To enable the students to be monitered as they can be playful at times, having tuition will let them have some time to study besides being in school.
• Having extra tuition will also help students to clarify questions and have better understanding of the topics.

Question 2:
Do you think it is necessary for you to have tuition? Why?

I think its good for me to have tuition. Its because i will be able to understand the topics more clearly. I would be able to have more practices on certain topics and also i would be able to clarify those doubts that i do undestand in lesson. Having tuition will also enable to study better as the tuition teacher can teach me the topics before hand, during lesson i world be able to have a beeter understanding and know what the topics is able and to do them well. therefore i felt that it is necessary for me to have tuition.
